Terms of sale: Super Sophia Halloween books

1. What you are buying

For each book you order, one personalised copy of a Super Sophia Halloween book (Luca's Trick or Treat, or It's Halloween – Are We Scared?), as a paperback with your child, your family, your front door and your cat drawn in it. Price: £24.99 for one copy, including UK delivery. If you order the second book as well, it is £19.99, including UK delivery. Extra copies of the same book are £19.99 each. Every order includes a Happy Halloween colouring page of your family.

2. How it works

You answer the guide's questions and add photos. We draw your family's picture and send you a link to look at it. You approve it, or ask for a change. Once you approve it, we email you your colouring page. We then make the book's pages and send you a proof. You approve the proof, or ask for a change; once you approve it, you pay, and we print and post it.

3. Changes

You can ask for one change to your family's picture and one change to your proof. A change means swapping a photo, a size, a costume or a stated detail. If you are still not happy after that, email lester@dontdelayreality.com and Lester will look at it himself. Once you approve a book, it goes to print and can't be changed.

4. The drawings

The pictures are made by software from your photos and our instructions. They will look like your family, not match it exactly. By approving your family's picture and your proof you confirm you are happy with how they look.

5. Payment

You pay after you have approved your proof. Payment is taken by Stripe.

6. Delivery

Your book goes to print after you approve the proof and pay. Our printer, Bookvault, estimates that it will be sent out the same or the next working day after printing starts, and that tracked delivery then takes 1 to 2 working days. These are estimates, not a guaranteed delivery date: this is our first run, and printing and post are handled by others. If your book will be late, we will tell you as soon as we know.

7. Cancelling and refunds

Because your book is made to your specification, the usual 14-day right to cancel an online order does not apply once we have started making it. Before payment you can stop at any time, and we delete what we hold only for that order 30 days after you cancel (earlier if you ask). If your book arrives damaged, faulty or not as approved, we will reprint or refund it, and your statutory rights are not affected.
